Owen is 10 months old! He loves trying new foods and feeding himself with his fingers. He has started sleeping up to 8 hours at night, only waking once for an early morning snack. Owen enjoys pulling himself up to standing, and has started walking along the furniture and behind his push cart. He still loves his pal Chloe and can easily follows her wherever she goes... ALL DAY LONG! Poor Chloe! Owen has been spending a few hours with a babysitter every week which has been a difficult transition but we're working on it ;) It's good for him to get used to time without Mommy, and it has been great for me to be able to get out a bit.

An Afternoon Downtown
Owen loved playing in the water fountain at Wilmette City Hall.
We had a couple huge banana pancakes at Hotcakes for lunch.
Later that evening Dad grilled some salmon and made rice for dinner. Owen really loved squishing the rice and rubbing it all over himself. He was not as happy when it got stuck and then dried. I think it must have been a little itchy. Chloe eventually helped with the cleanup!
Learning to Walk

Cael LOVES that Chloe is in the video with her tennis ball. I think Owen is just adorable and so big! I need details about this cart-- how great that it doesn't tip over or slip away from him. I'd love to get one for Elle when the time comes!
